ANNUAL REPORT 2017 - page 35

“Visiting or exhibiting in trade fairs is more than
just an opportunity to showcase your products
to potential buyers. It’s also where you can meet
new people, build new relationships, and improve
your knowledge on the latest developments
within your industry.”
Prieta Perthantri
Head of Trade Fairs
EKONID offers German and Indonesian companies a one-
stop-service in order to promote their business at a range
of respected international trade fairs. The trade fairs team
identifies international leading trade shows that demonstrate
growth potential for the Indonesian economy and further
invites local companies to exhibit in or to visit these trade
shows. In addition, we actively evaluate business opportunities
for German companies in Indonesia and encourage German
companies to participate in relevant trade shows in order to
assist them in identifying new market opportunities, either as
a visitor or as an exhibitor.
Our Trade Fairs team is experienced in promotion
activities at Koelnmesse’s events, Messe München’s events,
Spielwarenmesse’s events, as well as potential Trade Fairs
in Indonesia, and numerous other projects. Our team has
successfully arranged for exhibitors and visitors in participating
in trade fairs for the German Trade Fairs Organizer (TFO), which
we have been representing for more than 40 years.
By the end of 2017, EKONID’s Trade Fairs team has assisted
108 companies in participating in our events with as many
